Ashwing — Mechanical Butterfly Kit

Description

More than 300 pieces of metal come together to create a mechanical butterfly that actually moves. Once assembled and switched on, its exposed transmission mechanism sets the grey wings into a steady flapping motion while a music box built into the base plays along.

The butterfly rises above a polished black acrylic base with much of its machinery deliberately left visible. A rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours of operation and charges by USB-C. The kit includes the tools needed to assemble the whole peculiar specimen yourself.
