Overview
The Cosmic Flea is a curated marketplace featuring new, handmade, vintage, artistic, collectible, and unusual goods from a variety of makers, suppliers, and sources.
Because some items are handmade, vintage, naturally varied, or produced in small batches, minor variations and characteristics disclosed or reasonably expected based on the nature of an item may not be considered defects.
Returns
We want you to be happy with your discovery. Eligible items may be returned if a return is requested within 10 days of delivery.
To request a return, please contact us through our website and include your order number and reason for the return. Please wait for return instructions before sending an item back, as products may need to be returned to different locations depending on their source.
Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. Once the return has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method if the item meets our return guidelines.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged, incorrect, or there was an error with the order. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error with the order.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Digital downloads
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Final sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
- Items otherwise identified as non-returnable on the product page
This does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
When applicable, please include photos of:
- The item
- Original packaging
- Shipping label
Please keep the item and its packaging until we provide further instructions.
Depending on the circumstances and product availability, we may offer a refund, replacement, or another appropriate resolution.
Minor variations, disclosed signs of age or wear, handmade inconsistencies, and characteristics reasonably expected based on the nature of an item are not considered damage or defects.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
If only part of an order is returned, the refund will apply only to the eligible returned item or items.
Shipping & Multiple Packages
The Cosmic Flea works with multiple makers, suppliers, contributors, and fulfillment partners. Products within the same order may therefore ship separately, from different locations, and arrive at different times.
A return involving products from multiple sources may also require separate return instructions or return destinations. Please do not send items back without first receiving return instructions from us.
Shipping delays caused by carriers after an order has been transferred for delivery are not considered grounds for a refund by themselves.
